Dalmatia is the region we would visit time and time again. We might be biased as our self catering lettings are in Split but we have travelled the length and breath of Croatia, we love all of it especially the north (Istrian region). The reason we pick Dalmatia and Split in particular is because it’s a great starting point if you’re interested in exploring Croatia. There are a staggering 8 UNESCO protected sites within 2 hours of Ciovo. The 2400 year old town of Trogir is on your doorstep with taxi boats leaving the local harbour every 15 minutes. The landscape is mountainous with the Adriatic Sea in the forefront and the people are friendly and very helpful.
