A Trip to Krka

I’ll start out by saying we’ve been to Krka park many many times and still we hope to visit many more.  It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve been too, so peaceful, tranquil and relaxing.  There are two ways to reach the stunning waterfalls, one is by boat and the other is to take a bus to the walking point, from here it’s about a 2 km walk down to the falls.  The walk is a series of twists and turns on a wooden walkway with fabulous trees through a woodland mountain-side.

The good news is that Krka is only 1 hour from our self catering properties in Split.  We can recommend tours, taxis and car hire.  The best way to travel there is by car and we recommend packing a lunch, so that you can spend a full day relaxing at the falls.  They truly take your breath away and are a must see for us every time we travel over.  We’ve been doing it for 15 years!

We can help our guests arrange trips.  You can take a driver who we can recommend, they will do the transfer and wait four hours while you explore Krka park before driving you back to the apartment. You could also rent a car and drive your group, it’s only one hour away.  You can find prices and more info on the National park site here - http://www.np-krka.hr/en/    Oh and don’t forget your swimming gear as you can take a dip in the water.

If you think Trogir and this stunning part of Dalmatia are somewhere you might like to visit do get in touch with us at ARC Rentals.  We specialise in holiday lettings on the island of Ciovo. Since 2004 we have managed a variety of 3 & 4 star properties, awarded by Croatian Tourist Board, on behalf of property owners. We carefully select the apartments that we promote as they must meet our high standards and they are only 15 minutes from Split airport.  Find out more at our website - www.split-rentals.com
