Reviews of Apartments and Ciovo and Trogir Area
February 18, 2019We thought we should add a few of our guests reviews to our blog. We have had 100’s of reviews written and thought it might be nice to highlight a few on some of our properties.
First up is our Penthouse Paulina which sleeps 4 people. It is 300 meters to the sea and has a stunning large terrace.

I had an amazing week holiday in Croatia, staying at Paulina on Ciovo island. The apartment was second to none, fully equiped with all mod cons and furnished to a very high standard. The large balcony was superb!! The view over the sea was amazing! I captured some beautiful sunsets on camera of the mesmerising views! Lying on the sun loungers looking out over the area and sea is one of my favourite memories from the holiday. The beach and restaurants are a very short walk from the apartment, it’s in a fantastic location! I would highly recommend a stay in this property and a holiday in Ciovo Island. Trogir is a 15 minute boat trip away and Split and airport 20 minute drive! Perfect holiday!!
Next is our Penthouse Christina which sleeps 6 and again it’s 300 meters from the sea. There is also a pool at this property. Here’s a glowing review from one of our guests.

We could not fault this holiday! Okrug Gornji was a beautiful destination, with everything we needed from nice beaches, ferry trips across the islands and shops to buy what was required for our self-catering accommodation and pleasant bars and restaurants. We were a a family of five, of a wide range of ages (including a 6 year old) and so we found something for us all to enjoy. The tourists are well-catered for but we were pleased to find it is still not too commercialised so it felt a little like a secret destination. We had days out to Trogir and Split (which we accessed by ferry), hired a pedlow one day and rented out a boat on another (which allowed us to visit smaller islands and the blue lagoon). We have travelled to many countries around the world and we have now put Croatia as one of our top destinations…..it is truly wonderful location that I would highly recommend!! The accommodation was clean and spacious with an amazing sea view from the balcony (as seen in the photo). We were on the top floor (so not so great for anyone who would struggle with stairs) and within a few minutes walk down hill to the beach and shops etc. It is within a pleasant little community, I envy those that live here. Alison was so helpful, professional and approachable in handling our booking and any queries we had and nothing was too much trouble and an excellent, friendly service was provided by David once we were in Croatia (including him transporting us to/from the airport, providing tourist guidance and offering to take us anywhere we wanted to go). Every holiday needs a David and an Alison!!!! The only downside was having to leave. Thank you very much Home and Away, Alison and David!!
